Andar Bahar is India's beloved traditional card game: the dealer places one face-up «joker card» in the middle, everyone bets on Andar (inside/left) or Bahar (outside/right), and cards are then dealt alternately onto the two piles. Whichever pile receives a card matching the joker's rank wins. It is free entertainment played entirely with virtual chips — no real money anywhere.

Andar Bahar in a nutshell

Played with a standard 52-card deck. The dealer reveals one card — the joker (house card) — into the middle. Everyone bets Andar or Bahar before the deal; the first card always goes to Andar, then cards alternate between the two piles. The pile that receives a card matching the joker's rank wins, and players who backed it split the losing side's pot in proportion to their stakes.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards are used in Andar Bahar?

A standard 52-card deck — one card is placed in the middle as the joker, and the rest are dealt.

How many players can play Andar Bahar?

Two to five players per table; when fewer than three humans are present, AI players fill the empty seats.

Which side gets the first card?

In this version the first card is always dealt to Andar — the most common live/casino format. The traditional home variant uses the joker's colour instead (black → Andar first, red → Bahar first).

When does the round end?

As soon as a dealt card matches the joker's rank (suit ignored) — the pile that received that card wins.

How are winnings calculated?

Winning-side players get their stake back plus a proportional share of the losing side's pot. There is no house edge — the total chips on the table are always conserved.

What if nobody bet on the winning side?

All stakes are returned and the next round starts.

How much time do I get to bet?

A 12-second window — but the deal starts as soon as everyone has bet. If the window expires without your bet, you sit the round out.

Is this a real-money game?

No — it is free entertainment. All chips are virtual and can never be exchanged for real money. The store sells only chip packs and cosmetic items.

Yes — the site is mobile-first and runs in any modern browser on Android or iPhone, with full Hindi and English interfaces.
